The Beggarmen were recently added to the Iowa Arts Council Roster of Performing Artists. This means we are recognized by the State of Iowa as a preferred performance group. It also means that we now qualify as such for the IAC EZ 1-2-3 Grant program which provides matching funds up to $500 for non-profit organizations, school, arts organizations, etc. who wish to bring The Beggarmen in for a performance.

Our ceili at the Center was a huge success! We were thrilled with the turnout and with our awecome caller Gerry Bade of the Quad Cities Ceili Club as well as our amazing step dancers, the Ghrá Na Gaeilge Irish dancers. Another ceili is in the works for the fall!

A million thanks to everyone who came to our show on January 23rd at Uptown Bill's and to the Ghrá Na Gaeilge Irish dancers for sharing their talent! Your generous donations raised almost $500 toward relief efforts in Haiti.
